Day 26: The best manga oneshot?

I don’t know if it counts, but I think it does as it is a one volume manga and that is it. I liked Kamikaze Girls by Kanesada Yukio and Takemoto Novala. This, of course, was actually adapted from a “light” novel of the same name by Takemoto Novala. I liked it. Yes, I did. It was interesting to see the friendship form between the yankee and the lolita girl who had such different personalities. I even enjoyed the live action even though I did NOT like some of the stylings they did…that “unicorn” hairstyle on a guy. Shudders.

Anywho, it’s worth a read and it’s only one volume. Enough said. Since the manga only covers roughly half the book, I am really curious to know what goes on in the whole novel. Wonder if there’s an English version floating around…doubtful, but you never know.
