Tokuda’s story finishes and Tagawa goes to finish out his job so he can return home…but he can’t do it. So Tokuda decides to end his cursed life himself only to be saved by those he helped.

The other tenants take their anger out on Tokuda who begs for death and relates the story of his childhood as a TROUBLEMAN and his connection with Yamada and her manga crew.

And now we get to slowly see how Tokuda is connected to the misfortunes of every one around him (as in physically). Oh, and we even see how he is connected to the mangaka who eventually kills herself in Makiko’s apartment.

This episode begins Tokuda’s very tragic story. Talk about a guy with no luck at all. Just what is his connections to his neighbors?

Kameda, Ozaki, and Sasaski hold Tokuda down so Makiko can hypnotize him, but it turns out that Tagawa has finally been hypnotized! We then get to learn how he came to be connected to the yakuza and how he became a “hitman.”

There is a connection between the stone that killed Ozaki’s finacee Yumiko and Tagawa. Is Tagawa behind the accident and Yumiko’s death? Kameda tries his hardest to find out and learns that Tagawa also has connections to the Takei-gumi members!

Ogawa’s hypnosis fails once more as Ozaki is hypnotized instead. He tells his tragic story of losing his fiancee, joining a gang, and slowly waking up to the real world around him once more.

Landlady Sasaki tells her story and reveals that she and her husband were infamous criminals that robbed other elderly. They decided on one last job which ended up with her husband dying.

It is Makiko’s turn to tell her story and we learn she is not a murderer and the secret behind her hypnosis coin and the tragic death of her boyfriend.
